Track your progress

The InBody 970S.

A research-grade body composition scanner that shows you what the scale never could — your muscle, fat, and water, broken down piece by piece. The whole test takes about 60 seconds, and it's completely non-invasive.

How it works

What is an InBody scan?

You simply stand on the device, hold the hand sensors, and stay still for about a minute. A tiny, painless electrical current travels through your body across six frequencies — from 5 kHz all the way up to 3 MHz — taking 30 separate readings across your arms, legs, and trunk. Because it measures each segment directly instead of estimating, the results are precise enough to track real change over time.

Muscle & fat mass

Your skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass, and body fat percentage — the real numbers behind your weight, so you know exactly what you're gaining and losing.

Segmental analysis

A separate lean-and-fat breakdown for each arm, each leg, and your trunk — so you can spot imbalances and see where you're truly strong.

Visceral fat

The deep belly fat that wraps around your organs — the kind that matters most for your health. The InBody gives you a clear visceral fat number to watch.

Body water balance

Your total body water, split into what's inside your cells versus outside them. That balance is a useful window into hydration, recovery, and inflammation.

Basal metabolic rate

How many calories your body burns at rest each day — the foundation for dialing in your nutrition, whether you're cutting, bulking, or maintaining.

Phase angle & more

A cellular-health marker prized by researchers, plus protein and mineral mass, bone mineral content, body cell mass, and your overall InBody score.

Why it's worth doing

See the progress the scale hides.

Two people at the same weight can have completely different bodies. The InBody shows you what's really changing.

Track real progress

Watch muscle go up and fat come down — even on weeks the scale won't budge. It's the honest measure of whether your training and nutrition are working.

Catch imbalances early

Segmental data can reveal a weaker side or a lagging area before it turns into an injury — so you can train smarter and move better.

Set a real baseline

Start with a clear picture of where you are today, then re-test every few weeks. Watching the numbers move is one of the best motivators there is.

Get the most accurate read

Before your scan.

A few simple habits make each test consistent, so you can trust the comparison over time.

A quick note: an InBody scan is a wellness and fitness tool, not a medical diagnosis. If you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or you're pregnant, let our team know — a scan may not be recommended for you.
